TEA-RIFFIC SAVINGS!ALDI OFFERS RITZ AFTERNOON TEA MENU FOR LESS THAN £5 PER PERSON
For a decadent treat at less than £5 per person, Aldi shoppers can recreate The Ritz’s iconic Afternoon Tea menu – at a massive 92% saving.
From melt in the mouth cakes to a vast array of sandwiches, and of course not forgetting the classic scones with jam and cream, the menu is perfect for enjoying Afternoon Tea Week (8th – 14th August), while helping to save precious pennies.
The Ritz’s iconic experience would set visitors back a huge £67, but Aldi’s savvy shoppers can find everything they need for the perfect spread at bargain prices. Products are in-store now.
Sandwiches
Aldi’s great range means customers can recreate The Ritz’s huge sandwich offering, from cheese and chutney to egg mayonnaise on brioche bread. A dream crumb true!
Shoppers can combine rich Specially Selected British Wiltshire Cured Ham (£1.89, 120g) with strong, flavourful Bramwells Wholegrain Mustard (£0.45, 200g), sandwiched between two light and fluffy slices of Bon Appetit! Sliced Brioche Loaf (£1.49, 500g) to start their first course.
Scones
No afternoon tea is complete without the British staple of scones with jam and cream. Shoppers can get their hands on Specially Selected 4 All Butter Scones (£1.09, 260g), with or without sultanas, sweet and fruity Specially Selected Strawberry Conserve (£1.25, 340g) and smooth Specially Selected Traditional Cornish Clotted Cream (£1.49, 200g) to make the classic course for just 64p per serving!

Tea
To wash down their afternoon feast, shoppers can choose from a variety of Diplomat Herbal Teas from just 85p, such as refreshing peppermint or sweet berry fruits, as well as the classic Specially Selected Rich & Smooth English Breakfast for just 89p (125g).
