A member of Aldi’s Scottish team is celebrating a milestone work anniversary this year having joined the supermarket back in 1996.
Kirsty Kerr, who works as a Store Assistant at Aldi’s Saltcoats store, has now worked at the supermarket for 25 years, joining two years after the supermarket opened its first Scottish store.
Kirsty has always had Aldi’s Saltcoats as her home store but has also helped out in multiple other stores in Ayrshire, with her original training being completed in Kilmarnock.
Speaking about her long service, Kirsty said: “It has been a privilege to work at Aldi for 25 years. I’ve loved working here and it’s the customers and my colleagues that make the local store such a great place to work.”
When asked about her favourite products at Aldi, Kirsty replied: “I couldn’t possibly pick, I especially love all the Specialbuy products we sell in store”.
Richard Holloway, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK said: “Without the hard work and dedication of our store colleagues we wouldn’t be able to provide customers with the excellent and efficient service we’ve become known for.
“Colleagues like Kirsty are the cornerstone of our business and I thank her for her continued dedication throughout the last 25 years. Hopefully we work together for many more years to come.”
