An Aldi colleague in Glenrothes is celebrating a work anniversary milestone this month after working at the supermarket for 20 years.
Fiona Forrester, Store Manager at Aldi in Glenrothes for the last 10 years, first joined the supermarket in 2002 as a Store Assistant before moving up through the ranks to become a Store Manager in 2006. She has worked at several local stores over the years, including the Musselburgh, Dumfries, Perth, and Dunfermline stores.
Speaking about her long service, Fiona said: “It has been a privilege to work at Aldi for 20 years and I’ve really enjoyed being part of Aldi’s journey. It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come. I’ve loved working here and want to thank my amazing colleagues who make it such a great place to come to work every day. I’m looking forward to the next 20.”
When asked about her favourite products at Aldi, Fiona replied: “It changes constantly, but my absolute favourite has to be the Specially Selected Chocolate Chunk Scottish Shortbread Rounds which are great for dunking in a cup of tea.”
Richard Holloway, Regional Managing Director for Scotland said: “Without the hard work and dedication of our colleagues, we wouldn’t be able to provide customers with the excellent and efficient service we’ve become known for.
“Colleagues like Fiona are the cornerstone of our business and I thank her for her continued dedication throughout the last 20 years.”
