ALDI UNVEILS SPOOK-TACULAR RANGE OF HALLOWEEN SWEET TREATS FROM JUST £2.99

  • Aldi is launching the NEW Scaredy Cat Cheesecake and NEW Mummies & Tombstones – both scoring highly in this year’s Good Housekeeping Institute Halloween Taste Test
  • Aldi also returns its fan-favourite Halloween Macarons with NEW Frankenstein designs and Spider Leg Churros 
  • Available in stores from 16th October and 27th October

This Halloween, Aldi is casting a deliciously dark spell on its dessert aisle with a range of ghoulish goodies, available in stores from 16th October and 27th October. 

From spine-chilling cheesecakes to monstrously moreish macarons, these limited-edition treats promise to delight shoppers without haunting their wallets.

Leading the dessert range are Aldi’s NEW Mummies & Tombstones (£3.49, 4 pack). Awarded 85/100 by Good Housekeeping Institute experts, shoppers can choose from either white chocolate mummies filled with rich ganache and raspberry jam, or milk chocolate tombstone filled with milk chocolate ganache, raspberry and a crunchy honeycomb. Available from 27th October.

For Halloween hosts, Aldi introduces the NEW Scaredy Cat Cheesecake (£3.49, 450g). Purr-fect for parties, this wickedly indulgent treat layers silky-smooth vanilla with a buttery base and is topped with cocoa for an irresistibly good bite. Available from 27th October.

Also returning is fan-favourite Halloween Macarons (£2.99, 109g/96g). These sophisticated spooky sweets, awarded 89/100 by Good Housekeeping experts, feature Bat and NEW Frankenstein designs blending sweet almond with nutty pistachio. Available from 16th October.

Finally, the crispy, fluffy Spider Leg Churros (£2.99, 10 pack) creep back onto shelves this Halloween. Shaped like spider legs and accompanied by an indulgent chocolate sauce, they offer the ultimate dipping experience.

ALDI’S UNBEATEN RUN CONTINUES AS IT IS CROWNED WHICH? CHEAPEST SUPERMARKET FOR MAY

  • Consumer champion Which? has named Aldi the UK’s Cheapest Supermarket for May – a 100% record in 2026 which extends back to November 2025 
  • Shoppers can save a total of £67.19 by switching from Waitrose to Aldi 

New analysis from consumer champion Which? has once again confirmed Aldi as the UK’s cheapest supermarket for May 2026, based on a basket of 95 popular grocery items.   

Even after loyalty discounts were applied, shoppers would still have paid up to £30 less at Aldi than at Sainsbury’s (priced £198.79) and Tesco (£196.88). Morrisons was £29.20 steeper (£197.50), while Waitrose was a whopping £67.19 more than Aldi for the same basket at £235.49. 

The result continues Aldi’s strong start to 2026, having topped the Which? rankings every month so far this year and building on its recognition as Cheapest Supermarket of the Year for 20251.  

The retailer was also recently named Which?’s ‘Best Value Brand of the Year’, recognised for consistently delivering strong quality at low prices2.
