ALDI BRINGS BACK EASTER EGGS FOR CHRISTMAS AND SHOPPERS ARE IN A FRENZY
Aldi has returned the Easter favourite, Nutoka Filled Mini Eggs and Jaffa Filled Mini Eggs, to stores this week
The tasty mini eggs have surprised shoppers by landing amongst Aldi’s new Christmas range, with some exclaiming “Easter gets earlier every year![1]”
Previously described by fans as “soooo good”[2], the return of Aldi’s Nutoka Filled Mini Eggs (£2.49, 150g) and Jaffa Filled Mini Eggs(£2.49, 150g) has caused a stir online.
The tasty chocolate mini eggs, usually a staple product of Aldi’s Easter range, have landed amongst the supermarket’s new and biggest ever Christmas confectionery range. This unexpected arrival has had some shoppers wondering which season the eggs are in aid of, with one bemused Facebook user commenting: “mini eggs in September? Easter gets earlier every year!”
Meanwhile, others are simply thrilled to see the sweet treat landing on shelves, no matter the time of year, with comments including: “I need these!” and simply: “yes!!”
Whether for Easter or Christmas, the Dairyfine Flavoured Filled Mini Eggs, are a tasty, sweet treat. While the Nutoka flavour offers a rich milk chocolate outer layer filled with a hazelnut infused chocolate crème, the Jaffa flavour boasts a dark chocolate shell complemented by a zesty, orange infused chocolate crème centre.
