ALDI ANNOUNCES AWARD-WINNING PIGS IN BLANKETS RANGE

It’s time to go pig or go home as supermarket Aldi has announced its extensive pigs in blankets line-up for the 2026 festive season including innovative twists on fan favourites and returning award-winning delights.  

Back by popular demand, Aldi’s Specially Selected Double Wrapped Pigs in Blankets (£2.69, 250g) are sure to steal the spotlight. Crowned ‘Best Pigs in Blankets’ by Good Housekeeping in 2025¹, each delicious pork sausage is enveloped in an entire rasher of oak-smoked dry-cure bacon, wrapped multiple times to deliver an extra helping of flavour. Available from 25^th November.  

The Good Housekeeping-approved² Specially Selected The Ultimate Pigs in Blankets (£2.99, 300g) are also a must-have on the festive table. Available in classic Pork and NEW Old English flavour, which boasts a fragrant blend of sage and thyme, these premium crowd-pleasers are expertly wrapped in smoked streaky bacon for a perfect bite every time. Available from 19^th December.  

Keeping shoppers guessing this Christmas is Aldi’s Pigs in Blankets Roulette (£4.99, 368g). Featuring a roulette of three irresistible flavours, shoppers can take their pick between Hot Honey, Smoked Bacon & Maple, and Chocolate Chilli flavours. Better still, this festive favourite is paired with a smooth-sweet cranberry sauce to cool the flames. Available from 10^th December. 

Another mouth-watering must-have are Aldi’s Specially Selected Ultimate Truffle Flavour Pigs in Blankets (£2.99, 300g). The melt-in-the-mouth truffle treats are joined by the Specially Selected Ultimate Cranberry Pigs in Blankets (£2.99, 300g), perfect for shoppers who favour a sweeter flavour profile. Available from 10^th December while stock lasts. 

Shoppers will be delighted to hear a Giant Yorkshire Pig in Blanket (£4.99, 350g) is heading to stores this season. Boasting a whopping 60cm pig in blanket made from British pork, this luxurious pig in blanket sits inside a large Yorkshire pudding. Available in stores from 10^th December while stock lasts. 

A seasonal staple, Aldi’s Specially Selected Chipolatas in Bacon (£2.49, 252g) also make a highly anticipated return to stores in time for the festivities. Shoppers can choose between two mouth-watering flavours: classic Pork or Caramelised Onion. Available from 19^th December.  

Adding a grate twist to a Christmas classic is Aldi’s Specially Selected Cheese in Blankets (£2.99, 194g). Available in classic Cheese and a NEW Caramelised Onion flavour, these savoury delights feature a delicious blend of cheeses, expertly wrapped in streaky bacon. Available from 19^th December. 

Meanwhile, the Pigs in Blankets (£1.99, 222g) are a failsafe classic with a reliably great taste. Even better, they come in at just 17p per pig in blanket, offering maximum festive taste for the best possible value. Available from 25^th November. 

For the chicken lovers, Aldi’s Chicken Chipolatas Wrapped in Bacon (£2.99, 252g) deliver top-quality festive flavour. Made with succulent British chicken sausages and wrapped in smoked streaky bacon, they’re the ideal addition to any seasonal table. Available from 10^th December while stock lasts. 

Finally, no festive feaster should miss out this December. Luckily, Aldi’s Specially Selected Vegan Pigs in Blankets (£2.99, 228g) are back by popular demand, meaning non-meat-eaters can get in on the action. Hand-wrapped in smoky vegan bacon, these plant-based favourites deliver all the classic pigs in blankets flavour, without the meat. Available from 19^th December.
