ALDI BRINGS BACK VIRAL WHISPERING ANGEL ALTERNATIVE AND SLASHES PRICE TO UNDER £5 FOR BANK HOLIDAY 

  • From 29th April to 5th May, shoppers can get their hands on the viral Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé for just £4.99 
  • Rosé wine fans can save 79% compared to pricier brand, Whispering Angel1 
  • Supermarket Aldi is also dropping the price of Pierre Jaurant French Merlot, Freeman’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc and Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC to under £5 

Shoppers should run not walk to their closest Aldi as the supermarket has announced it will be slashing the price of its viral Chassaux Et Fils Atlantique Rosé, 75cl to under a fiver from 29th April until 5th May, just in time for the bank holiday.  

Returning to shelves as part of the supermarket’s Spring Summer range, the popular rosé offers unbeatable value, available for just £4.99 from £6.99, offering a 28% saving. 

Selling out last year after it was hailed by wine experts, including Lucy Hitchcock aka @partnerinwine2 who compared the wine to Whispering Angel, Which? cheapest supermarket of the year3 will save wine lovers an incredible 79%4 compared to the pricier alternative – cheers to that!
