ALDI CHRISTMAS PORTS ARE OVER 90% CHEAPER THAN BRANDS
It’s the most wine-derful time of the year as Aldi returns its premium range of ports for Christmas. Produced in Portugal’s beautiful Douro Valley region, the tipples make the perfect pairing for after dinner desserts and spreads, as well as a quality gifting option for budding connoisseurs.
Available in stores nationwide now, prices start from just £8.75 a bottle meaning shoppers could bag themselves an impressive saving of up to 93% compared to rivals such as Ramos Pinto and Taylor’s.
Fletchers LBV Port (£8.75, 75cl)
A velvety port with deep purple hues and a wonderful combination of ripe fruit flavours, balanced by tannings of dark chocolate and black pepper.
Fletchers 10-Year-Old Tawny Port (£10.99, 75cl)
Rich, silky and packed with flavour. This port offers honey and dried fruit aromas that meet hints of coffee and notes of ripe berry, chocolate and butterscotch for a long and clean finish.
