ALDI EXPANDS ITS POPULAR PROTEIN RANGE INCLUDING NEW VIRAL PROTEIN BALLS

Quality Food Award’s ‘Retailer of the Year’ winner3, Aldi, is helping shoppers kick-start healthier habits in 2026 with the launch of its NEW Protein Balls (69p, 40g), available in stores now. 

Following the viral popularity of #ProteinBalls (294k Instagram tags), Aldi’s latest innovations are set to be a guaranteed hit. 

Priced at just 69p, the Peanut Protein Balls combine 9.8g of protein and the Cocoa & Raspberry Protein Balls combine 5.7g of protein with wholesome mixed fruits and nuts. Ideal for supporting brain health, they offer a convenient, tasty snack.

For those with a sweet tooth, Aldi’s NEW Gianni’s High Protein Ice Cream Tubs (£2.59, 473ml) deliver 23g of protein per tub. Available in Chocolate Brownie and Salted Caramel, the delicious tubs provide the perfect guilt-free treat.

Shoppers looking for a protein fix on-the-go should try Aldi’s NEW Golden Bridge Layered Protein Bar (£1.69 each). With chewy biscuit layers coated in chocolate, the bars offer up to 21g of protein and are available in Cookie Crumble, Birthday Cake, and White Gold.

Shoppers can also kick-start their mornings with the NEW Golden Bridge Protein Multigrain Hoops (£2.49, 375g). Available in Chocolate and Vanilla, they are high in fibre and provide a strong start to the day with 7.3g of protein per serving.

For a midday pick-me-up, Aldi’s protein-packed pairings make snacking simple. The NEW Savour Bakes Protein Rice Cakes (£1.29, 104g) offer 7g of protein per cracker and create the perfect base for a quick bite. Topped with the NEW Emporium High Protein Cheese (£1.99) — available grated (180g) and sliced (160g) —they provide an easy way to add extra protein to meet daily goals.

For a fast, protein-packed meal on the go, shoppers can try the NEW Bramwells Express High Protein Noodle Pots (99p, 64g). Available in Korean Style BBQ with 26g of protein per pot and Kimchi with 23g, they’re a convenient, flavourful way to fuel the day. 

Alternatively, the Inspired Cuisine Protein Pots (£1.79, 350g) deliver a complete, protein-rich meal in one, available in NEW Beef Burrito, Teriyaki Noodles and Meatball Pasta for up to 36g of protein.

Shoppers can also opt for Aldi’s BrookleaProtein Chocolate Balls Topper (£1.39, 221g) available in either Vanilla Yoghurt with Milk Chocolate Cereal Balls or Strawberry Yoghurt with White Chocolate Cereal Balls, perfect for an after-dinner treat with 30g of protein in each pot.  For an extra protein boost to yoghurts, try Aldi’s NEW Snackrite Protein Trail Mix (£2.79, 150g) — a fibre-rich blend featuring salted chocolate.
