Supermarket Aldi is launching its first-ever 0% Shiraz and 0% Chardonnay, in stores from 6th November.
Priced at just £2.99 a bottle, the new additions join Aldi’s range of low and no tipples, including a lower ABV Merlot, as a growing number of Brits enjoy alcohol alternatives1.
With white peach and vanilla aromas, Aldi’s 0% Chardonnay (£2.99, 75cl <0.5%) offers flavours of stone fruit and honey melon, with a hint of toasty oak and a rounded finish. Best served chilled and paired with roasted vegetable dishes.
The 0% Shiraz (£2.99, 75cl <0.5%) has subtle notes of spice and vanilla, complemented by plum and dark cherry aromas. This well-balanced red will fool anyone into thinking it’s the real thing!
Shoppers looking for a classic merlot with lower alcohol content can opt for Aldi’s NEW Kooliburra If Pigs Can Fly Australian Merlot (£5.99, 75cl). At just 11% ABV, this delicious tipple has red fruit flavours, soft tannings and a juicy finish.
The latest low and no launches join Aldi’s bestselling Zerozecco (£2.99, 75cl). With a well-balanced acidity and a complex, citrussy flavour, it’s the ultimate glass of guilt-free bubbles.
Aldi’s NEW 0% wines will be available in stores and via Click & Collect from 6th November.
