ALDI LAUNCHES GIANT PIG IN BLANKET YORKSHIRE PUDDING
- The supermarket predicts it will sell over 38 million pigs in blankets this festive season, in what will be Aldi’s biggest Christmas ever
- New range also includes candy cane shaped, truffle-infused and loaded pigs in blankets
From filled giant Yorkshire puddings to replicating candy canes, Aldi has just unveiled its most unique selection of pigs in blankets yet. With its new range set to hog the limelight in homes up and down the country, the supermarket predicts it will sell over 38 million pigs in blankets this festive season, in what will be Aldi’s biggest Christmas ever.
Aldi’s new showstopping Giant Yorkshire Pudding with Pig in Blanket (£4.99, 380g), is sure to go down a treat with shoppers this Christmas. This whopping 60cm pig in blanket made from British pork, sits inside a large, delicious Yorkshire pudding for the ultimate quirky festive side. Available in store from 15th December.
The new maple flavoured Candy Cane Shaped Pigs in Blankets (£2.79, 248g) are sure to be the talk of any table with its quirky shaped twist! Landing in store from 15th December.
Aldi’s new Loaded Pigs in Blankets (£3.79, 272g) come prepped and ready for the oven for a no fuss and no mess cooking experience. Succulent pigs in blankets are fully loaded with a Wensleydale melt, classic cheddar cheese and a handful of cranberries to serve up a truly decedent Christmas mouthful. Sensationally simple and available from 15th December.
Crafted using truffle-infused British meat, Aldi’s new Truffle Chipolatas Wrapped in Bacon (£3.19, 264g) oozes earthy and nutty notes. Housed in streaky smoked sizzled bacon, these posh pigs in blankets are truly scrumptious! Available in store from 8th December.
Aldi’s full range of pigs in blankets are available in stores throughout the festive season. Although as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone – so shoppers are advised to snack fast!
