ALDI LAUNCHES THREE NEW SHANDIES AS LOW ABV RAISES THE BAR
- At just £1.19 per can, shoppers can save up to 43%[1] compared to rival brands
With beer and cider now the largest no and low category, and showing no signs of slowing down[1], Aldi has announced the launch of three brand-new shandy flavours to bolster its ‘nolo’ drinks offering this summer, and cans cost just £1.19 each.
The gluten-free and vegan-friendly shandies offer a lusciously refreshing tipple which all come in at 2.8% ABV, making them ideal for ‘guilt free’ summer picnics and alfresco dinners. What’s more, as ready to drink tipples continue to grow in popularity[2], the tasty trio meet the demand for on-the-go summertime sipping.
With savings of up to 43% compared to rival brands[3], shoppers can enjoy a taste of the British countryside with every glug – without pulling on the purse strings.
A lager than life Czech style pilsner, The Hop Foundry Lager Top (£1.19, 330ml) is the perfect uplifting tipple for any summer day. Brewed with classic European hops to give a morish bitter edge and partnered with subtle fruit flavours, this vibrant and fresh lager is topped with a healthy splash of lemonade to add a crisp, refreshing citrus character.
The Hop Foundry Beer Shandy (£1.19, 330ml) is an American Pale Ale combined with a generous drop of lemonade. A hop-packed IPA with tropical notes and a refreshing citrus aftertaste, shoppers can enjoy light beer which satisfies on both taste and price.
Spice up your life with The Hop Foundry Ginger Beer (£1.19, 330ml), a delicious combo of pale ale and fiery ginger beer. Subtle ginger heat is complemented with citrus hop notes, a flavour pairing sure to be a winner in the warm weather.
