ALDI SELLS MOST ICE CREAMS EVER AS UK TEMPERATURES SURPASS 32℃

• With temperatures expected to reach 34℃ on the weekend[2], Aldi predicts sales of over 12 million ice creams

Aldi has announced record sales of ice cream for one day with sales jumping by more than 35% — with predictions that this could increase as much as 70% by the weekend thanks to the current heatwave.

According to the Met Office[1], temperatures are likely to reach 34℃ on the weekend.

The supermarket predicts shoppers will be busy flocking to its freezer aisle to celebrate with week-on-week sales expected to jump by 42%.

Shoppers can cool down with a wide range of ice creams thanks to Aldi. Must haves include the NEW Gianni’s Pistachio Chocsticks (£2.49, 4 pack) and NEW Gianni’s Cola Bottle Ice Lollies (£1.99, 6 pack).  

Aldi’s ice creams are available to purchase in store now.
