ALDI SPRINGS IN NEW SPIRITS TO KEEP SHOPPERS SIPPIN’ UNTIL SUMMER
- Aldi launches 14 new seasonal spirits this Spring
- The range includes a fabulously fruity range of spirits, including Apricot & Lychee gin liqueur in a new showstopping bubble bottle
- It is joined by an Aperini nearly £10 cheaper than Aperol
With Summer in sight, nothing says Satur-yay like sipping a fresh beverage in the sun. Enter Aldi’s brand new selection of 16 fabulously fruity spirits. Arriving on 15th March, the new range starts from as little as £6.99! Now that’s sure to lift shoppers’ spirits!
Aldi has a new eye-catching gin liqueur which will be the talk of the picnic table! The Infusionist Apricot Lychee Gin Liqueur (£10.99) boasts a unique ‘bubble’ style bottle which is worth keeping on the mantel piece (top tip: it makes a great vase – after the drink has been drunk, of course!) Its blend of flavoursome lychee and sweet apricot is perfectly offset by delicate pear notes – and at just £10.99 this light, refreshing gin liqueur is an absolute steal.
For a sweet treat that’ll trickle down nicely on warm Spring day, try The Infusionist Lemon Drizzle Cake Gin Liqueur (£8.99), which contains all the yumminess of favourite baked goods with a fun boozy twist. Also new to the sweet and charmingly nostalgic Infusionist range, is The Infusionist Strawberry & Vanilla Gin Liqueur (£8.99); marrying classic summer flavours with beloved gin, it’s a crowd-pleasing sweet sensation!
Nothing says the start of warmer days than an Aperini Spritz. Aldi’s Aperini Apertif (£6.99, 70cl) with its new recipe tastes better than ever and it’s still a whopping £9 cheaper than Aperol Aperitivo from Sainsbury’s[1]. Combine with Prosecco and soda water to create a mouth-watering cocktail – easy breezy!
For a punchy yet sweet jug of something guaranteed to be shoppers’ favourite summer love affair, the Austin’s Summer Spirit Drink (£7.49, 70cl) will be hitting shelves too – and it’s half the price of Tesco’s Pimm’s[2]!
Bramble Gin is set to be the flavour of Summer 2021, driven by the big names of Bombay Sapphire Bramble, JJ Whitley Bramble Gin, and Tanqueray Blackcurrent Royale – Aldi is next to meet demands at a fraction of the price with the Haysmith’s Bramble Gin (£14.99), launching on shelf 15th March. A crimson-coloured gin, it’s a deliciously tangy fusion of blackberries and raspberries and will add a sophisticated touch to any sunny picnic. Mango & Passionfruit and Pink Grapefruit & Orange Haysmith Gins (£14.99) join this bramble beauty on shelf.
As if all that wasn’t enough, Aldi is bringing a selection of summery spirits to shelf, including new Mediterranean flavours of its popular Greyson’s Gin, flavoured premium vodka and rum, and for the traditionalists some new and improved unflavoured spirits.
The Haysmith’s London Dry Gin (£14.99) is back with a brand new recipe, containing eight different botanicals; Juniper, Corriander, Pink Peppercorn, Szechuan Pepper, Cardamom, Cassia, Orange Peel and Lime Peel – all working together to offer a classically crisp, premium gin with a refreshing flavoursome taste.
