- Discount retailer predicts high sales to continue as shoppers celebrate warm weather and National Prosecco Day
Aldi has reported bumper bubbly sales so far this Summer thanks to soaring temperatures and Jubilee celebrations. The supermarket’s best-selling Castellore Prosecco Spumante DOC (£6.25, 75cl) saw its highest day of sales EVER in June, with an incredible one bottle flying off the shelf every second!
With the warm weather expected to continue, and National Prosecco Day on 13th August, the supermarket predicts sales of its popular fizz will remain high.
And shoppers will be delighted to know that stock of the fan favourite, which boasts soft peach and pear flavours with notes of apple peel and lemon zest, is plentiful!

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG (£7.99, 75cl)

Castellore Organic Prosecco (£7.99, 75cl)
Eco-friendly fizz sourced from 150-hectare estate, 30km north-east of Venice. This award-winning medium bodied prosecco is grown with no pesticides or herbicides with most of the grapes hand-picked and gently pressed to ensure only the highest quality of juice is used.
