ALDI LAUNCHES WAGAMAMA-INSPIRED CURRY THAT IS 74% CHEAPER

• Aldi’s brand-new Katsu Chicken Curry launches in stores from 15^th September for just £2.49 – that’s over £7 cheaper than Wagamama
• New additions to the range also include a Thai Green Inspired Curry
• Launch comes following the popularity of Aldi’s Peri-Peri and Jerk Chicken Bowls

Wagamama lovers will be ecstatic to hear that there’s a new katsu kid in town. Supermarket Aldi is launching an Inspired Cuisine Katsu Chicken Curry – and at just £2.49 it is over £7 cheaper (74%) than the popular Japanese chain! Aldi shoppers can get their hands on the supermarket’s version from 15^th September.

This panko inspired Japanese treat which uses 100% British chicken, packed with colourful, healthy greens along with the signature silky sauce laced with fragrant coconut, ginger and turmeric, is ready to enjoy in mere minutes.

For the full Wagamama fake-away experience, shoppers can also grab Aldi’s Specially Selected Prawn & Vegetable Gyozas With Soy & Chilli Dip (£2.99, 270g). These dumplings are packed with either a delicious medley of seasoned vegetables or juicy prawns in a soft doughy wrap. Both pair perfectly with the soy and chilli dips!

Joining the Katsu curry on shelf is a brand-new Thai Green Inspired Chicken Curry (£2.49). Brimming with a spicy yet creamy sauce which covers beautifully cooked British chicken, fresh vegetables, and crunchy green beans, it’s served with long grain rice and takes just minutes to heat.

The two new street food-style dishes arrive on the back of Aldi’s hugely popular Peri-Peri and Jerk Chicken Bowls which launched earlier this summer. Following huge demand, these beautiful bowls, which save shoppers a whopping 83% (£13.21) when compared to Nando’s offering, will continue to be available throughout the winter, joining their Katsu and Thai Green counterparts.

These dishes provide the perfect way for shoppers to save those precious pennies whilst enjoying the iconic flavours of these high-street chain favourites!

Aldi’s Katsu Chicken Curry and Thai Green Inspired Chicken Curry are available in stores and via Click and Collect from 15^th September.
