Starting the celebrations off strong after winning a BRONZE at the International Wine & Spirit Competition[1], Aldi’s Specially Selected Fleurs D’Eau Sparkling Brut Rosé (£7.99, 75cl) is nothing short of mum-u-mental.

Offering attractive aromas of red and white fruits as well as sweet candy notes, this ferociously fruity fizz is well rounded and fresh.

What’s more, shoppers looking to go the extra mile can treat mums to a delicious cocktail in under five minutes; acting as the ultimate ingredient for a refreshing Rosemary Frozé, this recipe serves two people for under £10- sip sip hooray!

Ingredients

350ml Specially Selected Fleurs D’Eau Rosé

50g Nature’s Pick Strawberries

50ml Saint Gérmont Vodka

10 ice cubes

2 sprigs Rosemary to serve

Method

In a blender combine all ingredients, reserving a couple of strawberries for the garnish. Add the sprigs of rosemary and serve immediately.

Offering elegant notes of summer fruits on the nose, it is the perfect bubbly for a Mother’s Day apéritif. For fizz fanatics looking to go alcohol-free this Mother’s Day, Aldi’s popular Zerozecco Rosé (75cl) is back for just £2.99. After winning SILVER at the Global Wine Awards[2], and boasting fruity red berry notes with a dry finish, this bubbly has been likened to Kylie Minogue’s version but is half the price.

Not forgetting pinot grigio-loving mums, shoppers can raise a toast with Aldi’s Sparkling Pinot Grigio Rosé (£6.49, 75cl).Offering a crisp and refreshing finish with light florals and berry flavours, it’s the ideal afternoon aperitif.

Finally, popping the cork on celebrations is Aldi’s Contevedo Cava Rosado (£5.49, 75cl). With gentle aromatics of raspberry and red cherry, alongside a lively and fresh palate, what’s not to like?
