Aldi is set to celebrate the sweetest day of the year with savings to ice-scream about. With the delicious calendar date of World Ice Cream Day (17th July) happening in the middle of a UK heatwave[i], shoppers will be relieved to know Aldi has summer scoops sorted. The selection of ice creams available are a fraction of the cost of other British favourites including Magnum, Solero and Ben & Jerry’s.
What’s more, shoppers have gone donuts for Aldi’s latest American-style treat to hit the aisles. The Gianni’s Ice Cream Doughnuts (£1.99, 4 x 55ml) come splashed with rainbow sprinkles and coated with a choice of milk or white chocolate. Stuffed with creamy vanilla ice cream, the inside of the doughnut offers a refreshing twist, perfect to help shoppers cool down on a hot summer’s day. Now on offer in stores for just £1.99!
