SHOPPERS THANK ALDI FOR LAUNCHING NEW RANGE OF INCLUSIVE DOLLS

16 October, 2024

Aldi shoppers have taken to social media to thank the supermarket for its latest toy range as parents and carers have revealed they’re thrilled to see Aldi representing those with birthmarks and other conditions as part of its new range of Little Town Plush Dolls (£6.99).

With 12 unique dolls to choose from, the inclusive range features dolls with vitiligo, cochlear implants/hearing aids, birth marks and glasses. Available in stores now, shoppers will want to snap these dolls up quick, as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Taking social media by storm one TikToker said: “Thank you for helping my daughter, amongst many others, feel seen. The birthmark/visible differences community is so proud, and so grateful. I hope you know how much of a positive impact you have made for so many children.”

While an Instagram user also said: “A shout-out for Aldi who are selling dolls for children who don’t usually get a chance to have a doll who looks like them…”

Complete with a magnetic dummy, the dolls are designed to encourage care and nurturing for little ones.

Aldi’s inclusive dolls are available in stores now whilst stocks last.
