THE 90’S ARE BACK! ALDI LAUNCHES LIMITED EDITION BRITISH BEERS TO CELEBRATE CORONATION

  • The supermarket is introducing premium blends of Piña Colada, Margarita and Peach on the Beach for just £6.99  

Supermarket Aldi, has announced the launch of three NEW Infusionist Ready-to-Pour Cocktails: Piña Colada, Margarita and Peach on the Beach (£6.99, 50cl). Available in stores now.  

The seasonal line-up arrives as Brits continue to embrace the nostalgia trend, with a fascination for all things retro emerging as a theme for 20231. According to Google Trends, searches for ‘retro drinks’ have jumped 100%2, whilst on TikTok, content tagged with #vintagecocktails has clocked up around half a million video views.  

Shoppers looking to indulge in old school tipples can delight in Aldi’s premium, pre-mixed versions of the classics – as good as any bartender’s shaken and stirred counterpart but just a fraction of the price.  

NEW Infusionist Piña Colada Cocktail (£6.99, 50cl) 

One of the UK’s most popular cocktails3, this rum-tastic favourite offers the perfect fusion of pineapple, coconut and rum. Shake with ice and serve in a Poco Grande glass with a wedge of pineapple to transport tastebuds to Puerto Rico.

NEW Infusionist Margarita Cocktail (£6.99, 50cl) 

A mouth-watering Mexican classic. Packed with fresh lime and sweet orange flavours that meet tequila and triple sec liqueur for a sweet but sour cocktail. Simply shake with ice and pour into a salted martini glass with a garnish of lime to tease out salty senses. Shoppers could also save 63% (£12) compared to M&S’ version! 4

NEW Infusionist Peach on the Beach Cocktail (£6.99, 50cl) 

A classic vodka-based cocktail with sweet peach and tart cranberry flavours that meet notes of zesty orange. Boasting a vibrant pink colour, this refreshingly fun tipple is best shaken and poured over ice in a tumbler then garnished with a wedge of peach.

These new additions are just three of many ready-made cocktails landing on Aldi’s shelves this Spring as part of the supermarket’s latest spirits festival. But, as the demand for ready-made drinks continues to rise5, shoppers better be quick – as once they’re gone, they’re gone.
