ALDI CELEBRATES UK’S BIGGEST VEGANUARY YET WITH HUGE VEGAN WINE RANGE

With the number of Brits partaking in Veganuary snowballing each year, a record number of 500,000 were reported to get involved in January 2021[1]. In response, Aldi is getting ready to fully equip those taking part this January with its delicious collection of award-winning vegan wines at affordable prices.

Crafted by removing all animal products from the vinification process, Aldi’s vegan wine range ensures that plant-powered shoppers can enjoy the finest quality tipples from £4.29. The 97- strong range includes seasonal showstoppers, such as the Specially Selected Organic Rosé, Specially Selected English Red, Specially Selected French Roussanne and more. All on sale now.

Castellore Winemaster’s Lot Amarone, £19.99, 75cl

A cold month calls for a bold wine! Aldi’s Amarone Della Valpolicella (£19.99, 75cl) is one of the most ancient Italian wines. Produced using the “Appassimento” method, grapes are left to dry from September to January and then are vinified and aged in oak barrels and casks for 30 months. This drying process gives the Amarone its signature sour cherry, raspberry, and red berry notes.

Vegan Prosecco, £6.99,75cl

Totally Veganuary ready – this light and refreshing prosecco is perfect for an aperitif or served with a light salad thanks to its delicate notes of pear and apple. Bright and refined on the palette, Aldi’s Vegan Prosecco makes an exemplary accompaniment to any plant-based dish.

This elegant white wine features a rich blend of aromas from white flowers, hazelnuts, and apricots. The crisp citrus base and subtle honeydew notes give a well-balanced finish that hits the spot, particularly when paired with roast dinner or a buffet lunch.

Grapes from the vineyards of Chile’s Central Valley are used to produce this organic, pale pink rosé, combined with fresh summer fruit flavours meeting gentle strawberry and red cherry notes, resulting in a beautifully refreshing finish.

A silky structure and deep red hues make up this medium-bodied red, crafted in English vineyards.
