ALDI ‘STACKS UP’ ON CHEAPEST PANCAKE DAY INGREDIENTS — FOR JUST £1.28 PER PERSON!

• Up to 45% can be saved on pancake staples including Lemon Juice and Caster Sugar
• The supermarket is also launching NEW Pancake Assortment Pans with emoji and animal faces

Shoppers looking to indulge on a budget this pancake day need look no further than Aldi for in-crêpe-able deals.

The Which? Cheapest Supermarket of the Year[1] is boasting the lowest cost essential ingredients to make the perfect pancake or crêpe, with a basket of flour, eggs, milk, sugar and lemon juice setting shoppers back less than £1.28 per head.[2]

Shoppers can add some extra indulgence to each pancake with The Pantry Golden Syrup (£1.19, 750g), Nutoka Hazelnut Chocolate Spread (£1.69, 400g) and Belmont Biscuits Smooth Biscuit Spread (£1.99, 400g), all available in stores now. Aldi’s popular Dairyfine Spreads (£1.49, 400g) are also returning to store for Pancake Day in Titan and Racer flavours. Available in stores from 20^th February.

For those looking for quick fix pancakes, Aldi also has a selection of premade pancakes including Dessert Menu American Style Buttermilk Pancakes (£1.99, 6 pack), Dessert Menu Sweet Pancakes (£1.99, 8 pack) and Dessert Menu Mini Pancakes (£1.99, 250g) that are delicious with sweet or savoury toppings. Also launching on 20^th February is the NEW Dessert Menu American Style Chocolate Chip Pancakes (£1.69, 4 pack) that are expected to be popular with shoppers.

What’s more, with Aldi’s NEW Pancake Assortment Pans (£9.99 each), pancake fans can cook up any type of pancake with ease, available in stores from 20^th February while stocks last. 

Choose the large, flat style pan, ideal for thin crêpes or the 7-in-1 pan to make seven mini, fluffy pancakes in one go — perfect for pancake stacks!

Shoppers can also add some extra fun to pancake day with the embossed pans. Each pan creates seven pancakes at a time and shoppers can choose from emoji faces or animals — ideal for families with young kids. 

Aldi’s pancake ingredients and toppings are available in store now. Aldi’s Dairyfine Spreads and Pancake Assortment Pans will land in stores from 20^th February.
