TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALDI PARENT PANEL (THE “PANEL”)

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Aldi Parent Panel (the “Panel”), a 12-month pilot initiative run by ALDI Stores Limited (“ALDI”). Please read these Terms and the associated Privacy Policy carefully before applying to join the Panel. By applying to participate, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Information About Us
1. The Panel is run by ALDI Stores Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 02321869, with registered office at Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ. Our VAT number is GB813053468. Contact us via https://customerservice.aldi.co.uk/contact or call 0800 042 0800.
Purpose of the Panel
2. The Panel aims to engage parents and carers across the UK with children of different ages to share their experiences and feedback on family life and Aldi’s family-focused products, services, and initiatives.
3. Insights collected will help ALDI improve product development, customer experience, community support, and communications relevant to families.
How to Apply
4. To apply for the Panel, parents and carers over the age of 18 from England, Scotland, and Wales with children ranging from babies to teenagers are invited to submit:
a. a short written entry (up to 200 words) or a short video explaining why they would be a strong Panel member; and
b. basic details about their location (county of residence) and family structure (number and ages of children).
5. Applications must be sent to the following email address: aldiparentpanel@aldi.co.uk by the closing date.
6. Applications are open between 00:01 on Wednesday 18th March 2026 and close at 23:59 on Wednesday 15th April 2026.
Selection and Eligibility
7. An independent selection panel will review applications to ensure diversity and balance across child age groups, geography, family structures, and experiences.
8. The Panel will consist of 10 parents and/or carers selected to participate for a 12-month pilot period. This period will be between Friday 1st May 2026 to Friday 30th April 2027. Panel members must available during this period to participate in the Panel.
9. ALDI employees, their immediate families, and associated agency personnel are not eligible to participate.
10. Multiple applications from a single person are not permitted. Anyone found to be creating or using multiple email accounts to enter the Panel will be ineligible to participate and will not receive any Incentives.
11. Use of a false name or email address, or the provision of any other untruthful, inaccurate or misleading information, will result in disqualification from the Panel.
12. You may only enter the Panel using an email account that you control.
13. Any attempt to tamper or interfere with the entry process will result in disqualification from the Panel.
14. Entries made using results generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
15. ALDI may remove entries from the Panel at any time if it believes that such entry has been made in breach of these Terms or is otherwise not in the spirit of the Panel.
Panel Participation
16. Panel members will be invited to take part in quarterly targeted surveys and occasional product reviews throughout the year.
17. Participation is digital only and designed to be light-touch to fit around busy family lives.
18. Feedback from the Panel may be used publicly by ALDI in our marketing material in any media, including on its website and media materials, in aggregated and anonymised form unless otherwise agreed. Your identity will not be revealed.
Incentives
19. Panel members will receive Aldi shopping vouchers to spend in any UK ALDI store as recognition for their time—£100 voucher per Panel member for each completed survey (a maximum of £400 vouchers in total per Panel member as four surveys will be provided to each Panel member).
20. Panel members may also receive relevant Mamia products and selected Specialbuys for product sampling at ALDI’s discretion.
21. Incentives are intended as recognition, not payment, to maintain authenticity and unbiased feedback.
Contacting the selected Panel Members
22. ALDI will attempt to contact the selected Panel members via the email address used to enter the Panel within seven days of the selection. The Panel members will be selected on Thursday 30th April 2026.
23. ALDI reserves the right to retract the Panel member offer if the selected Panel member cannot reasonably be contacted by ALDI within one week of ALDI’s first attempt to do so. In that case, ALDI will select an alternative Panel member from the valid entries received before the closing date.
24. The ALDI vouchers are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
Privacy and Data Use
25. Personal data submitted during application and participation will be handled in accordance with ALDI’s Customer Privacy Policy: https://www.aldi.co.uk/privacy/how-we-use-your-personal-data-general-site. Please read this policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
26. Personal data will be used solely for the administration and purpose of the Panel.
Your Commitment and Conduct
27. Panel members agree to provide honest and constructive feedback.
28. Any attempt to manipulate or misuse the Panel or its processes may result in removal from the Panel.
29. ALDI reserves the right to withdraw individuals from the Panel at its discretion.
Liability
30. ALDI is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from participation in or inability to participate in the Panel beyond what is required by law. ALDI will not be responsible for loss or damage which is not foreseeable or which is outside of ALDI’s reasonable control.
31. ALDI does not guarantee individual impact from any single member’s feedback.
32. No responsibility or liability will be accepted by ALDI for entries which are not received, received after the maximum number of entries has been received, or are lost in transmission for any reason. Proof of sending or transmission will not be accepted as proof of entry. Corrupted, damaged, unintelligible, illegible, inaudible or incomplete entries will be invalid.
General
33. ALDI reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Panel initiative at any time and for any reason, with reasonable notice where possible.
34. Where these Terms refer to the exercise of any discretion by ALDI such discretion shall be absolute and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding any associated decisions.
35. Events may occur that render the Panel itself, the selection of Panel members, impractical due to reasons beyond ALDI’s control. ALDI may, at our discretion, make such variations or amendments to the Panel as we feel are necessary as a result of such events.
36. While ALDI will use every effort to ensure the Panel is open until the closing date, ALDI reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Panel in whole or in part at any time. If you have already entered the Panel by that point we will notify you of the change via the e-mail address which you supply to us when you enter the Panel. We will endeavour to give seven days’ notice of such a cancellation, termination, modification or suspension. If this is not possible we shall give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
37. These Terms, together with ALDI’s privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between participants and ALDI in relation to the Panel and supersede and extinguish all previous agreements in respect of the Panel.
38. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
