ALDI ADDS BOWEL CANCER SYMPTOMS TO TOILET WIPE PACKS
22 September, 2023Aldi is adding the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer to its own-brand toilet wipes.
The updated packaging follows the addition of the potentially life-saving information to all its packs of toilet roll as part of Bowel Cancer UK’s #GetOnARoll campaign, created in response to calls from the late campaigner Dame Deborah James and her fellow patient Cara Hoofe last summer.

ALDI TO SUPPORT NATIONWIDE BEACH CLEAN PROJECT
20 September, 2023Aldi is backing the Marine Conservation Society’s Beachwatch programme with a £50,000 sponsorship.
The supermarket becomes the biggest corporate funder of the Marine Conservation Society’s beach cleaning and litter survey project, Beachwatch, which aims to support more than 15,000 volunteers to participate in 1,200 local beach cleans over the next year.

ALDI OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR ITS AREA MANAGER PROGRAMME – WITH STARTING SALARIES OF £50,000
19 September, 2023Aldi has opened applications for its latest Area Manager intake.
Britain’s fourth-largest supermarket, which was recently named Employer of the Yearby The Grocer* for the second consecutive year, is looking to fill 100 roles on its Area Manager programme.
Applicants enrolled on the scheme will participate in a year-long training programme, equipping them with all the skills they need to run a collection of stores successfully.
