Aldi has come to the rescue once again – this time during KFC’s nationwide chicken shortage[1]. The UK’s favourite supermarket[2] has lip-smackingly good peri-peri chicken bowls and a finger lickingly good selection of fried chicken – up to four times cheaper than the Colonel’s favourite.
To help shoppers celebrate the final Bank Holiday of the year, Aldi has announced the return of its ‘cuts above the rest’ steak offering, including the exceedingly colossal Tomahawk (£13.49 per kg). This August, Aldi is offering shoppers the chance to bring the taste of Mexico into their homes without the grande price tag with a rare listing of Tequila – El Toro Tequila (70cl, £16.99). Following the surge in popularity with the likes of A-list celebrities such as JLo, who is seen sipping on the spirit in her latest sizzling music video[1] and George Clooney who has his own Tequila costing a wallet denting £52.95[2], Aldi’s brand new launch allows customers to live the celebrity lifestyle, but at a fraction of the price – that’s the spirit!
