Supermarket Aldi is bringing shoppers a touch of elegance this Christmas with its decadent range of seafood dishes that are all responsibly sourced. Featuring lobster centrepieces, booze infused smoked salmon and party essential canapés – this collection has something for everyone.


Back by popular demand, the height of luxury and a stunning centrepiece for the Christmas table – the Specially Selected Whole Lobster (£9.99, 400g) is tender, juicy and impressive. Aldi shoppers can get that opulent feeling without the opulent price tag! On sale from 6th November.

Impress guests with the Specially Selected Scallop Gratins (£3.99, 200g/260g), two rich and creamy scallop gratins served in seashells. Choose from Coquilles St. Jacques, Salmon Mornay or Scallop, Prawn & Champagne. On sale from 6th November.

New for 2023, the Specially Selected Bourbon Smoked Salmon (£3.99, 100g) makes for the perfect accompaniment to a Christmas breakfast or party spread. Infused with the distinctly rich taste of Bourbon, it gives a unique twist on a classic smoked salmon. On sale from 30th November.

In keeping with the flavoured salmon theme, Aldi has elevated its smoked salmon offering by infusing the tasty and fresh Specially Selected Smoked Salmon with two new flavours Beetroot and Orange or Whiskey and Orange – perfect for Christmas party canapés (£3.99, 100g). On sale from 8th December.

For a more traditional option and a perfect base for a festive breakfast of eggs royale, the Specially Selected Smoked Salmon (£3.99, 100g) is available in two fresh flavours: Gravadlax (120g) or Sweetcure (100g). On sale from 8th December.

For another brand-new and flavour packed salmon option, Aldi is introducing the Flavoured Side of Salmon (£11.99) to its repertoire. Available in two punchy flavours – Orange & Lemon (610g) and Maple & Clementine Glaze (680g) – this must-have is available from 19th December.

After becoming a festive favourite with shoppers last year, Aldi’s Specially Selected King Prawn & Scallop Ramekin (£4.29, 240g) is back by popular demand. Patagonian-sourced scallops join king prawns for this sumptuous seafood medley which comes with a choice of rich, creamy thermidor sauce or NEW indulgent prosecco sauce. Both topped with lashings of breadcrumbs. On sale from 21st December.

The perfect choice for a festive starter, the Specially Selected King Prawns (£3.99, 188g) are also returning to stores this Christmas. Or shoppers can pick up with the Specially Selected Marinated Prawn Platter (£5.99, 360g) for the ultimate seafood treat! Both on sale from 19th December.


For a traditional yet luxurious ready to serve starter, shoppers can opt for the Lemon and Mascarpone Canapés (£3.49, 120g). This blend of smoked and cooked salmon is combined with mascarpone and cream cheese, finished with a touch of lemon for the perfect festive appetiser. On sale from 19th December.
