ALDI UNVEILS ITS BIGGEST EVER RANGE OF PIGS IN BLANKETS – AND IT INCLUDES A PIG IN BLANKET YORKSHIRE PUDDING WRAP!   

It’s time to go pig or go home as Aldi has just unveiled its most extensive collection of pigs in blankets to date featuring a range of unique offerings. Shoppers on the hunt for the ultimate festive side are in luck, as along with some returning favourites, including the Giant Yorkshire Pudding Pig in Blanket, Aldi is also welcoming new additions to store this Christmas, including a tasty candy cane shaped brie and cranberry pig in blanket.  

Brand new for 2023 is the Yorkshire Pudding Wrap with Pigs in Blankets (£5.49, 391g). This tasty treat combines two succulent sausages wrapped in flavoursome smoky bacon nested in a deliciously buttery Yorkshire pudding wrap – the ultimate festive snack! Available in stores from 30^th November.  

Shoppers will be delighted to hear the popular Giant Yorkshire Pudding Pig in Blanket (£4.99, 380g) is returning to stores this season. Boasting a whopping 60cm pig in blanket made from British pork, this luxurious pig in blanket sits inside a large Yorkshire pudding. Available from 14^th December. 

Shoppers on the hunt for a showstopping addition to any Christmas meal need look no further than Aldi’s new Specially Selected Brie & Cranberry Candy Cane Pig in Blankets (£2.99, 248g). A new take on an Aldi shopper favourite, this pig in blanket is infused with punchy cranberry and creamy brie, shaped as a festive candy cane. Available from 7^th December. 

A new luxury pig in blanket set to grace the aisles of Aldi is the Specially Selected Pork, Maple & Chestnut Chipolatas Wrapped in Bacon (£3.19, 247g), these tasty beauties are crafted using maple and chestnut-infused sausage that’s packed with nutty and earthy notes – all wrapped in delicious smoked streaky bacon. In stores from 7^th December. 

Another mouth-watering must-have returning to shelves is the Specially Selected Chipolatas Wrapped in Bacon (£2.39, 247g). Available in two flavours, Classic and Caramelised Onion, these premium pig in blankets will perfectly compliment any festive dinner. Available from 19^th December. 

For the pork purists, Aldi’s  Specially Selected Pigs in Blankets (£2.39, 210g) are back by popular demand. A true classic – delicious British cocktail sausages wrapped in beautifully marbled dry-cured extra triple oak smoked streaky bacon. Available from 24^th November. 

Aldi’s pigs in blankets aren’t just for meat-eaters! The Plant Menu Ultimate Vegan Pigs in Blankets (£2.99, 228g) are made with the supermarket’s award-winning succulent Ultimate No Pork Sausages and wrapped in smoky vegan bacon. In stores from 19^th December.  

Finishing off the piggy party is the mighty  Specially Selected Pigs in Blanket Pizza (£4.49, 535g). Back by popular demand, the artisan base is lovingly hand-stretched with a blend of both wheat flour and sourdough and baked in traditional wood-fired pizza ovens before being topped with rich tomato sauce. It’s carefully topped with a selection of British bred pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce, British maple sliced turkey and finally covered with a garlic and herb British pork crumb. Available from 8^th December. 

Aldi’s range of Pigs in Blankets will be available in stores from 24^th November.
