TAKE IT CHEESEY! ALDI LAUNCHES ITS FIRST EVER VEGAN ‘CHEESE’ – AND IT’S JUST £1.39

It doesn’t get much cheddar than this! Supermarket Aldi is set to launch its first ever vegan alternative to cheddar which is perfect for those em-brie-cing a plant-based diet this Veganuary. The new Plant Menu Mature Cheddar Block (200g) is made using coconut oil and is available from 2nd January for just £1.39 – up to £1.21 cheaper than Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

Grate to eat straight from the pack or melted on top of favourite foods, Aldi’s new cheese, which also comes in a Grated Cheddar Pack (£1.39, 150g), is the perfect addition to cheese and wine evenings, pizza toppings or even the humble classic, cheese on toast.

The news comes as Aldi introduces its largest ever vegan range to cater for the thousands of Brits who are going vegan this January. Last year out of 209 countries, the UK came out on top as the country with the most people following a meat free diet during Veganuary. With Brits leading the way, the nation’s need for vegan alternatives is bigger than ever, and Aldi is primed with solutions.

Aldi’s brand-new Plant Menu Mature Cheddar Block and Plant Menu Grated Cheddar Pack are available in stores from 2nd January.
