Eight newly upgraded Aldi stores across the UK are set to welcome customers back in time for Christmas following a significant investment in improvements designed to make them an even better place to shop.
The stores in Cardiff, Dunston, Witham, Perth, London, Liskeard, Greenock and Bradford are scheduled to reopen between 5th November and 3rd December.
Parents are being urged to check their receipts for the chance to win a £100 Aldi shopping voucher – with a winner picked every week until January 2027.
The supermarket’s Mamia New Parent Fund is designed to help families with the cost of everyday baby essentials, including nappies and wipes.

Aldi has launched a new beef farming initiative developed in partnership with ABP to provide British farmers with practical support, technical expertise and premium farm payments for adopting sustainable farming practices.
‘Grounded in Goodness’ will bring together around 1,000 beef farmers across England, Scotland and Wales who commit to implementing a range of on-farm actions covering soil health, biodiversity and animal welfare. In return, participating farmers will receive premium farm payments on top of standard market prices, alongside access to specialist agronomic advice and peer learning networks.
Aldi has issued an important reminder to parents and carers that they can access free mental health support through information printed on packs of its Mamia baby wipes.
The supermarket added PANDAS Foundation support details to packs of Mamia Sensitive, Sensitive 6 Box and Extra Sensitive Baby Wipes last year, helping shoppers find advice in a discreet and familiar place.
Aldi has revealed the full list of stores it will be opening between now and Christmas.
The announcement follows Aldi’s annual trading update earlier this week, when it outlined further investment in new stores, continued price cuts and more long-term agreements with British suppliers.
The supermarket, which currently has 1,092 stores, will open or relocate nearly 30 stores over the next 10 weeks, bringing affordable groceries to even more communities.
Britain’s biggest discounter is partnering with Deliveroo to enable shoppers to order Aldi products via the Deliveroo app, bringing great value on-demand groceries delivered to customers across the UK.
Modelled on Aldi’s successful partnerships with DoorDash, Deliveroo’s parent company, in the United States and Australia, Deliveroo Riders will pick, pack and deliver orders directly from stores. This will allow Aldi colleagues to focus on keeping stores running smoothly for customers.
It will be the only rapid delivery service available from a discount supermarket in the UK.
