FULL LIST OF NEW ALDI STORES OPENING ACROSS THE UK BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Aldi has revealed the full list of stores it will be opening between now and Christmas.

The announcement follows Aldi’s annual trading update earlier this week, when it outlined further investment in new stores, continued price cuts and more long-term agreements with British suppliers.

The supermarket, which currently has 1,092 stores, will open or relocate nearly 30 stores over the next 10 weeks, bringing affordable groceries to even more communities.

DELIVEROO AND ALDI SET TO LAUNCH ON-DEMAND GROCERY DELIVERY

Britain’s biggest discounter is partnering with Deliveroo to enable shoppers to order Aldi products via the Deliveroo app, bringing great value on-demand groceries delivered to customers across the UK.

Modelled on Aldi’s successful partnerships with DoorDash, Deliveroo’s parent company, in the United States and Australia, Deliveroo Riders will pick, pack and deliver orders directly from stores. This will allow Aldi colleagues to focus on keeping stores running smoothly for customers.

It will be the only rapid delivery service available from a discount supermarket in the UK.

ALDI BEGINS FRESH PRODUCE OPERATIONS AT UK’S LARGEST AUTOMATED SUPERMARKET WAREHOUSE

Aldi has begun handling fruit and vegetables at its Bardon Distribution Centre in Leicestershire, as the UK’s largest automated warehouse moves into its next phase of operation. The first pallets of produce, including ginger and avocados, were delivered to the site on Wednesday 16^th September, with the first outbound pallet the following day.

Aldi is helping students access more fresh fruit and veg this Freshers Week by giving away £5,000 in shopping vouchers.

Britain’s biggest discounter has launched the giveaway to help new and returning students stock up on affordable fresh fruit and vegetables as they settle into university life.

From fresh fruit for breakfast, snacks on the way to lectures, or vegetables for quick no-nonsense dinners, the vouchers are designed to give students a helping hand when it comes to building healthy, balanced meals on a budget.

Aldi is updating its popular Mamia baby food range to better support parents during weaning. Shoppers will start to spot the refreshed products in stores nationwide from this month, as they are introduced on a phased basis.

Aldi is opening a new store every week throughout September, creating up to 120 new jobs across the four locations.

Aldi has confirmed that all of its UK stores will close on Boxing Day this year, giving store colleagues the chance to enjoy more time with family and friends after the festive rush.

The UK’s biggest discounter will close on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, before welcoming customers back on Sunday 27^th December 2026.
