ALDI SCRUBS OUT PLASTIC WITH NEW TOOTHBRUSH PACKAGING
12 April, 2024Aldi has introduced new plastic-free packaging on its everyday own-label toothbrushes.
The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket has replaced the plastic and card packaging with a cardboard alternative, making it easier for customers to recycle at home without the need for separation.

4 April, 2024Aldi has extended its fundraising target for Teenage Cancer Trust to £15 million by 2027 after already hitting its £10 million goal ahead of schedule.
In July 2020, the UK’s fourth largest supermarket pledged to raise £10 million by 2027 after reaching its initial £5 million target over 18 months early.

ALDI SET FOR CRACKING EASTER SALES
20 March, 2024Aldi is set to sell around 20 million hot cross buns and 8.6 million of its own-label chocolate eggs as the country’s fourth-largest supermarket prepares for its biggest and best Easter yet.
Hot cross buns and Easter eggs combined will see the retailer spend around £8 million with British suppliers in the run-up to Easter, while it will spend a further £4 million on fresh meat, fish and meat-free alternatives and approximately £34 million on British fruit and vegetables.
