Aldi is to open 11 new stores across the UK between now and Christmas, bringing its unbeatable prices to even more communities.
New stores in Sedgley in the West Midlands and Castle Douglas in Scotland are set to open this week, while Horsham in West Sussex and Muswell Hill in London are also gearing up to welcome stores in November.

Aldi has announced plans to invest over £30m in dairy farmers over the next three and a half years, through an enhanced partnership with Arla, the UK’s biggest dairy cooperative.
This extended partnership, set to run until the middle of 2027, will provide additional support to Arla’s farm owners, ensuring greater focus on sustainability and animal welfare practices.

Research by consumer group Which? has found that Aldi was the cheapest supermarket for a basket of 65 items in September with a total price of £102.68, coming in a whopping £27.69 cheaper than the most expensive supermarket, Waitrose. That’s enough to buy enough Christmas dinner ingredients from Aldi to feed at least 12 people for Christmas dinner.
