Aldi has lowered the prices on a range of items ahead of Father’s Day weekend.
Shoppers at the UK’s cheapest supermarket* can enjoy lower prices on BBQ essentials including Marinated Pork Loin Steaks (now £2.99), Spare Ribs (now £4.49) and Large Prawns (now £2.70).
A family-owned Kent-based fruit farm has signed a new £750 million deal with Aldi.
AC Goatham & Son has supplied Britain’s fourth largest supermarket with a variety of apples and pears since 2016 and was announced earlier last year as Aldi’s sole supplier of British apples.

The new pay increases, announced in March, will see the hourly rate of Store Assistants nationally rise from £12.00 to £12.40, and from £13.55 to £13.65 for those within the M25.
This marks the second pay increase for Aldi store colleagues this year and takes the supermarket’s investment in pay this year to £79m.
Aldi has introduced 100% recycled plastic (rPet) in some of its own-brand washing up liquid bottles.
The move, which applies to its standard Magnum washing up liquid, as well as its Antibacterial and 1 litre Magnum Classic variants – excluding the caps and labels – is rolling out into stores nationwide.
Aldi has confirmed its opening times for the upcoming late May Bank Holiday.
Standard opening hours will remain in place at Aldi’s stores across the UK on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May. Stores in England and Wales will then be open until 8pm on Monday 27th May, while in Scotland stores will close at 10pm as normal.
