Aldi has announced the launch of a very special edition of its Infusionist Gin range, a British Strawberry & Mint Gin Liqueur (£13.99/70cl) that lights up and shimmers, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and pay tribute to Britain’s longest reigning Monarch. What’s more, Aldi’s low-cost version is over £2 cheaper than a similar product from M&S.

ALDI SELLS CHERNIGIVSKE, UKRAINE’S MOST LOVED BEER WITH 100% PROFITS DONATED TO HUMANITARIAN RELIEF IN UKRAINE
4 May, 2022Supermarket Aldi has announced it will sell Chernigivske, Ukraine’s most popular beer brand1, in stores nationwide from May 1st (£9.99 for 10 x 440ml). All profits from sales will go towards humanitarian relief in Ukraine. Brand-owner AB InBev is guaranteeing at least $5m from the initiative, with funds distributed across designated NGOs.

ALDI LAUNCHES FOUR NEW GREEK WINES FOLLOWING SURGE IN POPULARITY
3 May, 2022Around 100 bottles of Aldi’s £6.99 Greek Assyrtiko sold every hour following its launch last summer, paving the way for a family of four new Greek wines to hit shelves this spring
It all started when Aldi’s 2020 Greek Assyrtiko launched last spring and the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen show described it as “one of the best value white wines on Britain’s shelves” and “a total steal” by wine expert Olly Smith. The result? Aldi’s Greek wine flew off shelves last Summer, with around 100 bottles sold every hour – that’s over 50,000 glasses every week!
With Britain’s insatiable demand for more esoteric wines from lesser-known regions continuing[1], Aldi has now expanded its Greek wine offering as part of its new 2022 Spring Summer wine range.
