Full recipe from Aldi below:

Ingredients:

·       1 pack of long skewers sticks

·       Tomato & Herb Pasta Sauce (39p, 440g)

·       Penne Pasta (39p, 500g)

·       Emporium Italian Mozzarella (45p, 240g)

·       Nature’s Pick Mixed Peppers 3 Pack, 82p

·       Pitted Black Olives, 49p

(Total just £2.15 from Aldi)

For that extra flavour kick, the pasta-bilities are endless!  Add Pepperoni Slices (85p, 120g) or Cooked Chicken Breast Slices (£1.99, 240g) to meat-ify the experience, or alternatively add Sliced Green Jalapeños (65p, 210g) or Dried Crushed Chillies (49p, 29g) for some extra spice.

Steps:

1.       Cook penne pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente

2.       Carefully drain the pasta and allow to cool slightly. When cool, thread 10-12 pieces of penne onto each skewer widthways

3.       Using a spoon or pastry brush, cover the penne in the tomato pasta sauce

4.       Once coated, add pieces of mozzarella or preferred cheese over the tomato sauce, followed by the peppers and olives or toppings of choice

5.       Finally, place the pasta skewers until the grill for 3-5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and for the pasta to become slightly crisp. Enjoy!
