‘Aldi’s Next Big Thing’ returns to screens on Tuesday 2^nd April, Channel 4 at 8pm.

The six-part prime time show, which kicks off with the ‘dinner’ episode, sees artisan suppliers pitch to win a ‘life-changing’ contract and have their product land on shelves in over 1,000 Aldi stores nationwide.

ALDI REVEALS NEW PRIORITY STORE LOCATIONS IN LONDON

Aldi has revealed its latest wish list of priority locations across London where it is looking to build new stores – including Notting Hill, Chelsea and Richmond.

ALDI SET FOR CRACKING EASTER SALES

Aldi is set to sell around 20 million hot cross buns and 8.6 million of its own-label chocolate eggs as the country’s fourth-largest supermarket prepares for its biggest and best Easter yet.

Hot cross buns and Easter eggs combined will see the retailer spend around £8 million with British suppliers in the run-up to Easter, while it will spend a further £4 million on fresh meat, fish and meat-free alternatives and approximately £34 million on British fruit and vegetables.

ALDI CELEBRATES SUCCESS OF COMPANY SHOP GROUP PARTNERSHIP

Aldi is celebrating a significant milestone in its partnership with surplus food and household products redistributor, Company Shop Group.

In the past year, Britain’s fourth-largest supermarket has now donated an impressive two and a half million meals from its Regional Distribution Centres across the UK through Company Shop Group, saving an estimated 1,000 tonnes of food from going to waste.

Aldi has been named as the UK’s cheapest supermarket by consumer champion Which? – for the fourteenth time out of a possible fifteen!  

ALDI  AND TEAM GB EXTEND PARTNERSHIP TO BRISBANE 2032 OLYMPIC GAMES

Aldi and Team GB have announced they have extended their partnership through to 2032.

The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket will be supporting Team GB athletes as they work towards the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, as well as Los Angeles 2028, the Olympic Winter Games in 2030, and Brisbane 2032.

ALDI PARTNERS WITH INPOST TO TRIAL PARCEL LOCKERS OUTSIDE STORES

Aldi is trialling the use of parcel lockers outside a selection of its UK stores. 

Customers will be able to collect and return online orders from other retailers at select Aldi stores, thanks to the supermarket’s new partnership with parcel locker provider InPost.

ALDI TO CREATE 5,500 NEW JOBS IN 2024

Aldi is to create 5,500 new roles across the UK this year.
